I’m not a huge fan of red meat, but I went to eat here last night with family and I loved it. The restaurant is laid out like a German beer hall. Like a beer hall, it gets noisy, so you need to really shout over the table if you want to have a conversation. Parties of 4 or larger sit in communal benches and tables. If you have a party of 4 or less, you get to sit in booths that have their own “pig pen” gates.
This place is known for it’s selection of pork and beer. We sampled different kinds of Belgium beer- all of which were pretty good (this comes from someone who isn’t huge beer enthusiast). The only pork I had was pork cappuccino with goat cheese. I was a bigger fan of the cheese than the pork. We also ordered seafood. The soft shelled crab was delicious, as was the hazelnut halibut. The waitress told us they do business with people they know, so our halibut was caught by a fisherman they personally know, and as of the day before, it was still swimming in the ocean. This made me feel a little shitty when I was eating him, but my belly was extremely pleased.
Definitely a good place to check out.

But just think! If he had been waiting around longer for you to eat him, he would have been a huge waste of resources. Shipping and handling and shite.
